Chocolate Chip Loaf

Makes 1 loaf/6 slices

This cake is an “any time of the day” slice of chocolate heaven that’s sure to treat those taste buds and your waistline!


  1. Preheat your oven to 180C
  2. Grease a loaf pan with olive oil and line with grease proof paper.
  3. In a bowl mix together the almond flour, cacao, coconut sugar and bicarbonate of soda.
  4. In a second bowl whisk together the egg, almond milk, olive oil, honey & vanilla extract.
  5. Mix the wet mixture into the dry and whisk until lump free.
  6. Fold in the ¼ cup of chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into your prepared loaf tin.
  8. Sprinkle with the remaining chocolate chips.
  9. Pop the pan into your hot oven and bake for 30 minutes.
  10. Allow to cool completely.
  11. Remove from the loaf pan and peel away the grease proof paper.

You can store it in an airtight container in your fridge for up to 3 days.

You will need:

1 ½ half cups of almond flour

½ cup of almond milk

½ cup of coconut sugar

¼ cup of raw cacao powder

¼ cup plus 1 tablespoon of dark chocolate chips

3 tablespoons of honey

2 tablespoons of olive oil

½ teaspoon of vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda

1 large egg
