Cauliflower Mash

2 Servings

The mighty cauliflower is proving it's versatility once more with this easy recipe, making this a healthylicious alternative to potato mash.


  1. Put your cauliflower florets into a salted pan of water and bring it to a boil.
  2. Turn the heat down and simmer for 10 minutes or until the florets are tender when pricked with a fork.
  3. Drain the florets.
  4. Put the florets into a food processor along with the olive oil, salt, turmeric and black pepper.
  5. Blitz for a couple of minutes until a smooth consistency is achieved.
  6. This can now be served straight away or refrigerated and warmed through in the oven or microwave.

You will need:

1 head of cauliflower cut into florets, washed and drained

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 teaspoon of turmeric

½ teaspoon of salt

½ teaspoon of black pepper

Cauliflower Mash
