Blackberry Chia Jam


Berry chia jams are an absolute favourite of mine because they are so quick and easy to make and full of healthy goodness. I stopped buying store bought jams/jellies a long time ago and don't miss them one bit.


Method:


  1. In a food processor blend the blackberries until they are nice and runny
  2. Transfer to a bowl and stir in the honey and chia seeds.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight.
  4. The magical chia seeds will expand creating a wonderful jam like consistency ready to be slathered on anything you fancy.

Store in an airtight jar in your fridge for a week.


You will need:


2 cups of fresh blackberries, rinsed and drained

¼ cup of honey/maple syrup

3 tablespoons of chia seeds
