Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, we are literally breaking the sleeping fast and we are running on empty in need of refuelling.
Oats are a classic favourite for a morning munch because they are wholegrain, rich in fibre, and slowly release energy making them a blood sugar stabilizer. Throw on some antioxidant rich fruit and protein packed nuts and seeds and you've got yourself a breakfast winner!
Add the almond milk to a pan and gently heat until it simmers.
Stir in the honey and vanilla.
Add the oats and cook on a medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring every few minutes.
